I was as horrified as you must be right after seeing these disgusting pictures of the Cheese & Onion I was served at Wenzel’s The Bakers.I even had bites of that cheese & onion and right after seeing that horrible piece of insect in my food, I was so sick that I could not even eat anything else for the rest of the day. I was throwing out everything and had lost my taste.I visited the branch and asked for a manager to speak with I showed them the food and the insect and all they had to say was would you like a refund? It isn’t about the money I paid, it’s about the hygiene and my personal health. Would they eat something that has species like that? This is the second day after that incident and I am having bad stomach aches and not feeling well at all.I request for an immediate action against this horrible Experience. I still have the Cheese & Onion in a bag if you need a sample for further investigation. The location of Wenzel’s The Bakers is Oxford Road, Denham, Uxbridge UB DH,I would really appreciate an action against them.

It has a convenient location and plenty of parking. They have a nice variety of bread, although they don't have any gluten-free options, and the bread isn't baked in the bakery. I normally get the wholemeal or the multi-seed one. There is a lotalty program - you get a stamp for every bread you buy, and when you buy breads, the th is free. They also offer a nice variety of sandwiches, and they do meal deals. The pastries are also good, although sometimes they can be dry if not fresh enough. The service is okay - sometimes it's very friendly but depends on the staff really.

The Eastern European lady behind the counter was very rude. I waited in line for minutes before being served to then be told a pregnant lady behind was served before me which I don’t mind at all. It’s the fact the lady looked me in the eye and said “I’m serving her first because she has priority over you”. Little did she know I am diabetic and I popped in because my blood sugars were dangerously low. Overall atmosphere is great and the rest of the staff were amazing. Hope they learn not to judge people and just to be fair.
